Leeds castle:
Leeds castle is where my venue is at. I was thinking about setting a stage up in the circle garden in front of castle B and have my audience with their backs to castle A (siting on chairs). My tech station will be next to castle C with them facing the stage controlling the lights and sounds. We will perform on a 3 foot height and measurement of 35 foot wide and 20 foot deep with the lights set 10 foot above the stage ground. There will be a black back drop at the back of the stage and a tent will be set up behind for changes. There will be a side wing tacking up 5 foot on each side of the stage where no one could see cast about to enter.
CONSERNS
· Weather is a concern as we will be using electrical equipment and if it rains we risk damaging the equipment.
· If it does rain we need to consider the audience as they will get wet
· If it gets dark it will get cold coursing discomfort
To hire Leeds castle will cost us £200 for the day so we can go early to set up the stage in the garden to the specifications above.
Will be bring our own lights and equipment for the show and set it up ourselfs
